In less than an hour Dad's plane will leave San Fransisco to fly to Sydney on United Airlines. He will arrive in Sydney at 6.25 am local time. ( 4.25am Albany time)
He will depart Sydney on Qantas at 10.10am and arrive in Perth at 1.35. There will be a one hour layover and then on Skywest for a 1 hour flight to Albany.
The City of Albany owns and operates Albany's Harry Riggs Regional Airport. The airport is serviced by 18 Skywest flights a week carrying 50,000 passengers per year.
The airport also caters for general aviation charter flights, Royal Flying Doctor Service and RAAF deployments.
