Dad is borrowing my Japanese robe and flip flops. Great look!!
We almost got to the Airport too late today to pick up Dad. The plane was 20 minutes early. Luckily I checked up on the Skywest Live Flight Tracking and saw that the plane had left 5 mins early and was travelling with a good tail wind. Becki arrived just as Dad walked off the plane. We collected his luggage (gonna have to do some shopping while he is here...his suitcase is smaller than we use as an overnight bag) and we headed off home. He is tired but so thankful to be here. I am going to hear lots of stories and going to have lots of material to use :-)
We had an early dinner of BBQ veal on the bone and a summer salad. After a couple of scotches and a red wine, Dad is tucked up in bed. Just hope he can find his way if he wakes in the middle of the night or he may end up sleeping in the closet.
